The DataManager is a module that allows the user to import and export ASCII or "flat" data to or from a WinFlow model as well as our other modules. This powerful tool can create models from any given GIS system, manipulate simulation data in any way imaginable, automate simulation processes, automatically link WinFlow to other applications, as well as a multitude of other applications designed to optimize the user’s productivity. This module is only limited by the end users imagination.

The DataManager can substantially reduce the time an engineer or operator spends performing studies by automating many of the processes involved in carrying out such simulations. J ust one example would be a incremental fuel analysis for a multitude of scenarios. This can sometimes involve analyzing hundreds of models having different set points, pressures and loading configurations. In turn, this could take an engineer or operator many hours to complete. But with the DataManager this task is reduced to mere minutes, once again freeing up the end user to accomplish much more in a day.

This module is your company’s gateway to link to any database of information and perform the following features.

DataManager Features:

Creates a model from "scratch";

Adds and deletes components to an existing model;

Updates the data in an existing model;

Submits a new model or an existing model to the Run Engine;

Transfers data from one model to another model;

Performs global or rule based changes to a model;

Edits model data using another program such as a spreadsheet;

Exports the data in an existing model to an ASCII file in a user specified format and export qualifier;

Automatically names any component that does not have a name;

Converts other vendor’s file formats to our format;

Creates schedules for use with the WinCast module;

And practically anything else you can imagine.
