| Gas Compositional Module
The Gregg Engineering suite of products are capable of calculating energy
content, specific gravity, dew points, and other parameters, as well as the
ability to track gas compositions throughout the pipeline system. There are
various Equations of State within the Simulation System. A few of these include
the following:
- BWRS
- AGA8
- Peng Robinson
- GERG
- RKS
Composition tracking includes a mixing algorithm on a molar
weighted basis to calculate product mixing as gas is injected into the existing
gas stream. The following gas components can be tracked:
- H2
- He
- O2
- N2
- CO2
- H2S
- C1
- C2
